The Community College Research Center

August 2024 - Present

The Community College Research Center (CCRC) is an independent research organization housed at the Teachers College of Columbia University in New York City. It has conducted research on education and community colleges for the past 25 years, funded by outside organizations such as the Gates Foundation, Ascendium, and the Lumina Foundation.

Since August 2024, I have served as Graphic Designer and Website Manager at CCRC, where I lead the design and production of a wide range of visual assets, including publications, research briefs, and reports that feature extensive integrated tables, charts, and data visualizations. My work spans digital and print media, including web banners, graphics, infographics, postcards, social media content, t-shirt designs, logos, templates, and seasonal communications such as holiday cards.

In addition to these deliverables, I collaborate closely research teams to communicate and present their work effectively. Highlights include the production of an informative video on Guided Pathways Workshops, incorporating both video and animation. I’ve designed and executed large scale orders of merchandise, such as a t-shirt design for the dual enrollment research team’s student panel. I’ve additionally participated in wide-spread marketing efforts, such as re-designing our monthly newsletter banner, and helping create visuals for the center’s Instagram launch.
